Question:if this poem would possibly catch you if you heard it at a poetry slam? i am tryingto figure out what I should do at the next one..

-a picture is worth a thousand words-
But a thousand words are unworthy of your grace
Unworthy of your beauty
Unworthy of your intelligence
Those thousand measily mummbles of lanuguage are unworthy of the frame that holds that perfect canvas
The strokes that it took to paint your portrait must have came down from the hands of G-d-
For hers are the only hands steady enough to bring those curves to life-
To make those eyes shimmer in the way that they always have-
To make those lips come off of the canvas-
Since it must have been those lips that kissed the sun that has been shining on my weary soul, nourishing my broken heart
Breathe-taking; Heart-breaking; Earth-shaking-
I am making these words bleed for you
So that I don't have to-
