A poem from the depths of me?

By attacking me
Ridicule is not the coat you should wear
Adorn yourself in peace
Let goodness be your coat
Wear a robe of kindness
To cover your jealousy

Even so
If you must attack me
I pray you not harm those in my heart
For my love shields them from harm
My song comforts them
My ears are in tune to their hearts

Bring your hatred to me
Spare them the wages of sorrow
Or face the wrath of ages
The wrath of the righteous
Like unto the weight of a mountain
Dropped from great heights

It's a good poem, but personally I don't like it. Just being honest, but don't get me wrong, it is a good poem.

It sounds almost like a Pslam.... but I totally agree with what it's saying

Far from being from your depths, this nonsense is from your typical and easily injured vanity. If you are upset by ones recognizing your poems for the bland fare that they are, try to improve them. You must know that your mass of support does not reflect any skill on your part, but only the feeble-mindedness and literary ignorance of the populace. By feeding them trash and denying them the full meal that poetry can be, you are adding to and celebrating the general decline into artistic incapacity.
