Your grandma might understand life better because she has seen more than any of us! Anyone who calls somebody else "intellectually uncool" is an asshole!. That's why being a student of philosophy brands one as an idiot or a fool, to actually study these morons!. How many famous philosophers actually had keen insight!? How many really cut through to the heart of the matter so that one can say "Yes, That's IT" and it changes the world!? Very seldom!. Most were merely intellectuals voicing an opinion!. Of course I have never read Derrida, which I hear might be an exception!. Although a lot of people a lot smarter than I think that there is something to him!. I don't necessarily agree with every thing that I have read but I haven't really ever thought this person is full of crap!.
