Question: Was post-modernism so ahead of its time that it was really pre-post-modernism!?
Is it true that when the term "post-modern" first appeared, society was not yet like that, but that today it is!? Are people more likely today to say "yes, it is, but at the same time, it isn't"!? Do people seem to revel in the concept of not knowing the difference betwixt fantasy and reality (people giving interviews who pretend to be a serious journalist but are actually setting people up as a joke)!? And is the world more likely to take it all as a joke and have fun with the meaninglessness!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Progress and expansion destroying the economic system, the ecosystem and humanity--people are living the failures of modernism!. It's one thing to toss a few ideas around in academia, but when you have an entire society built on modernity, what did people think would be the end result!?

Most scholars and those who studied post-modernism did not "connect the dots!." They went off on tangents thinking that modernism would morph into something else and sought to discover that "something else!." There is nothing else after modernism for this society--this is it!

Post-modernism isn't a prediction--it's an abyss that modernism falls into, and us with it, as our "world" disintegrates before our eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
