Question: Race to!.!.!.!.wait!.!.!.what were we racing for anyway!?
So I was talking to someone about random daily events!. I told her that I recently started volunteering for this activity!. Then she gives me all this crap about how I'm stupid for volunteering for that as it's a waste of time!. But I'm thinking!.!.!.I want to try something new, if I'm wasting my time, it's MY time afterall!. Why do so many people always try to sound like life's a big race or something!. It really annoyed me!.!.!. So my question is, what's this "big race of life" going on, am I missing out or something!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on your perspective I guess!.
He who dies with the most toys wins!. Live, love, laugh!. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all!.
All of these things take into account that the clock is ticking, but you're right!. We are given the gift of determining how to spend our time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if it's something like dropping out of school for volunteering or something but it's a good thing to volunteer for things, it's not a waste of time atleast to the cause that it's going to!. people can make up their own minds what they want to do in their lives, it's your own choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that when we are told we are wasting our time (doing something we like or think is worthwhile) it is because the person who says that can't do what it is we are doing, or they are not very good at it or it takes up a part of OUR time that they want to take up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
