One of the lost commodities we have yet to exploit is learning from our history!. We often think we are so different form our elders!. Everyone loves and learns and our Grandparents did lay the grounds for our foundation here in America!. So yes, experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perspective!. My great-grandmother was born in 1868 and lived to be 96; so I was 13 when she died in 1964!. She lived through a lot of history and saw a lot of changes in our society and technology!. She went from being well to do in Germany to being a widow with 4 children and no resources!. When she was into her nineties we asked her "Of all your modern conveniences what would you most hate to lose!?" Of course, we were all thinking about cars, tv, airplanes, etc and weren't we reminded of just how easy our lives were when she replied "Running water"!. Ever since then if I even think I'm have a hard day I just remind myself - "But hey, at least I have running water!." Which sadly is a lot more than millions of people can say in this world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
