Question: I'm in desperate need of a logical explanation for this!?
Last night I had the strangest happening while dreaming, but it wasn't the dream itself!.!.

I've never had a dream that I've remembered that wasn't a lucid one!. Lucid dreams are all that I know!. But that's not the weird part, last night while in my dream, I had the feeling that someone else was dreaming that exact same dream as me at the same time!. I found that person, and I asked him if he was dreaming this too, but he just told me it would "ruin it" if he told me!?! I can't get into the details of it, but it wasn't a very strange dream!. It was within reason, actually!.!.!. it could happen!. Not only that but while dreaming, it felt like deja vu, though I'd never had that dream before, but I knew what was going to happen!? That's not very strange though, considering It's coming from my own head!.

also, I was dreaming it, but I was also thinking at the same time!? I knew I was dreaming, but was also thinking about other things while in that dream!.

Weird!. Has this happened to anyone else before!? Am I going crazy!?

This was also the most vividly colored dream I've ever had!. It was about terrorist attacks during a parade!. There was much more, but I don't know if the content would help or not!.

I know this doesn't belong here, but I asked it in dream interpretation and they had nothing to say other than "oh you're traveling to a different dimentsion!." I need a LOGICAL explanation!. I thought it might be something I ate, but my diet is the same as it's always been, and I never eat after dinner!. I don't know what's going on but that strange feeling I had all throughout my dream hasn't left me all day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I will start with the stuff you don't want to hear (because they are not logical) and get them out of the way!.

1!. People who astrally project have been known to enter into other people's mind/dreams!.

2!. Lucid dreamers (it is a technical term, it doesn't just mean vivid dreaming) can change reality or do something like bring a person into their dream!. that would explain why you could think while dreaming, because maybe it WASN'T YOUR DREAM!.

3!. Deja vu can be triggered by astral projection or contact with an astral projection!.

Now for the rational stuff:

1!. The "ruin it" part suggests that you are dealing with a subconscious impulse, that would be suppressed if you were "aware" of it!. Perhaps you have some issues with or feelings about this person that triggered the dream, even if they seem to be a random person!. If someone were "running a scheme" on you (like an astral projector, but assuming that stuff is nonsense) you might be picking up on it subconsciously!.

2!. Dreams that are or seem precognitive often feel deja vu-like!. It is how you script that this projection is "real" in a dream!.

3!. Dreams within dreams or self-examined dreams (thinking while dreaming being a rarer variant) are one of the most common types of dreams!. Dreams are, as I see it, flushing out or incorporating information that didn't register consciously during the day!. Since dreams examine subconscious information, self-examination (like thought, or multiple frames - the other dreamer) is symbolic of the very process of dreaming!.

4!. Subconscious triggers are not always as easy to fathom as a bad meal or a trying day!. TV and movies trigger subconscious reactions to a inordinate degree because they are disconnected thematically from the rest of our day's experiences!. That gives them the power to trigger us more easily!.

5!. My sister always taught me to personify the most stiking feature of the dream (maybe the co-dreamer, or some event, whatever stands out most to you!.) and have that feature "speak to you" by free association!. What would "they" say!. The central feature in any dream is YOU and what it tells you is what you are telling yourself by means of the dream!.

Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

every dream you have is nothing but your mind tripping out while you're asleep and your brain is re-booting!.

I wouldn't pass it of, no!. My dad used to have these dreams!. I am going to try and tell you it all!. Once he dreamed that someone really important was going to die and he told a few people and they laughed!.!.!.but he thought it was serious!. About a week later, on the news, he saw that princess diana had been killed in a car accident!. He had a dream where he saw this plane crashing into water and ummm, im not sure how long after, but this plane coming from florida crashed into some sea or something!. He had another dream and I forget what it was but it happend!. So maybe something like that is really going to happen!?!?!? !?I dont know but my dad told me that it was really scaring him so he prayed that if this wasn't from God, that the dreams would stop!. And after he prayed that he never had those kind of dreams again!. Maybe your dream isn't from God, maybe it is from the devil or something, and if so maybe that is why you are feeling like someone was there!. I dont know, but if I were you I would do some praying, and ask if that dream wasn't from God then to not have a dream like that again!. Maybe someone or something is trying to tell you something!? Well youll find out if something like that happens for real!!! Anyways hope I helped!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Dream may have been because of a T!.V playing in the background or maybe you are like a dreamer that can tell the future!.!.!.Not to sound wierd but this is very likely!. Some people have been known to dream of things and then they actually happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's interesting, I read something like that on the dream interpretation site I use about a month ago!. I've tried using other sites, but they have lousy interpretations!. I wonder if it was your post or just a similar one!.!.lol!. They're good on this site, I know there was a term for why it happened, but I can't remember what it was!. I don't think it has to do with what you ate and sorry I can't come up with anything logical!. I'll leave the site for you to check out if you want to!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

dreams are dreams !.!.everyone dreams wild things!.!.!.a dream is a dream!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The guy who said it would "ruin it"-he might just be yanking your chain-cuz YOU'RE the one who fed hi the info that u had a dream and asked if he had the same one too!? "It would ruin it" is too vague and calm of an answer like he was just trying to go along with what you said-his reaction should be akin to yours all confused and questioning like "what are u talking about!?"
But, regarding your dream, Don't obsess over it but don't dismiss it-Record every detail, your feelings, the fact that your diet remained the same, anything relevant to the dream by using a cheap voice recorder from CVS videotape yourself and save the vid onto your flash drive or on a CD-You could also write it down but I've done that and there's so much detail in my dreams that my hand starts to hurt after awhile and my head races with too many ideas!.
The reason I think that you should record all your dream/even the "ruin it" guy is because sometimes when I've had deja vu(not in my dreams) I've had almost a memory in my subconcious that all this has happened before in addition to the dejavu feeling itself and that memory is of something that had stuck it out to me at the time it happened, enough that I think I should have written it down but I never did and then later of course it related to the dejavu feeling-

Anyway my point is, because this dream sticks out to u, record about the guy and the dream in case anything ever comes up later in life that relates back to your dream!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have a friend that has very vivid dreams like this all the time!. He tells me that they are like watching a movie, everything has a plot, and are very vivid and colourful!. He tells me about them, like he just watched a movie!. I wish I had dreams like that, they sound fun!. So, yeah it does happen!. Can you think of anything that happened to you some days before that could be related to your dream!? Dreams are actually fragments of our emotions and experiences being organized in our psyche!. But, they aren't precisely the same, usually they come out kind of contorted in our dreams!. For example, I had a dream once that I was giving birth to a chicken!. Turns out that I just started a new job the day before working in an Obstetricians office!. As for the chicken, I think that was just a minor unnecessary detail!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What happened in the dream!? It might be important to know!. And why did the other person who dreamed the same thing seem so passable about it!? I don't understand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, my question is, what were you doing during the day before you went to sleep!? Maybe its just your emotions and you went to bed feeling happy or sad or some other thing like that and you dreamed about that sorta thing!. i hope this helps, i really dont have much else to say!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People don't share dreams, at least honest people don't!. Dreams do not have the ability to predict the future!.

I doubt you are going crazy because you would have had problems recounting the details in your post!.

If you are going crazy, you will begin to lose the ability of determining whether you are doing the dreaming or waking thoughts and will begin to think that someone else is thinking your thoughts!. They are your thoughts but they appear to be someone else's!.

I would just pass it off as a curious dream and leave it at that!. But having lucid dreams in color is nice and probably indicates nothing more than that your brain is getting a good supply of blood and you are healthy!. You might have a minor touch of synesthesia, with is the ability of mixing your senses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. I've had dreams like that!. When i was younger, i used to be scared of my usually terrifying dreams!. I haven't had a good dream in quite a while!. But lately, When i have these dreams, I'm not scared!. I almost feel!.!.!. empowered!?
My guess is that there is someone in your life that has control over you!. That you're not getting what you want from this person!.(via the person who thought it would "ruin it") This person believes that you don't know that he/she is hiding something but you know (via your ability to think during the dream) the terrorist might mean that you are going through some stress!.
