Question: What about animal rights!?
I hear talk about human rights, but never animal rights!. We all assume that we, as humans, are born with certain rights (freedom, life, etc), but what about animals!? Do they not have their rights as well!?

Millions of animals are bred and given life only to be killed and turned into food!. Is that necessarily fair!?

Animals deserve rights just as people!. Because humans are sophisticated enough to reason, we can avoid killing other animals for survival!. If we were lions, it would be different!. We are breeding more animals to kill them!. We are causing more cruel torture!. I believe that anything with a life deserves rights!. Moreover, we didn't choose to be humans before we were born from other choices like pig, dog, etc!., so why should we be given a special advantage in comparison to other living things!?

Nevertheless, I will continue to eat meat!. I will lust for the consumption of flesh!. I will not care that the chicken was painfully chopped to death that I am eating!. This is because I know it can never happen to me!.I am greedy, and my primitive instincts take over me every time I smell a cooked, dead animal!. By the way, I have parts of dead animals in my fridge!. I'm going to warm them up in a microwave on a plate and eat them!. I'm then going to stuff my mouth with them!. Even worse, I won't show any respect for them!. I call them leftovers!. Someone should sadistically kill me, eat me up, and throw my bones in there trash!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe that, as human beings, our purpose is to survive and secure the best future for our future descendants!. I think that we need to first do what's best to ensure humanity's survival, then we can worry about animals!. But by worrying about humanity we are forced to consider the way we go about surviving and how its influenced by animals!. If we consume to much their may not be food in time of crises for food for future generations!. If we don't adequately feed our population we will starve!. We shouldn't over consume or over produce (meat)!. By doing this we will ensure the future of animals for the purpose of ensuring the future of man!. But then again perhaps we shouldn't think about things in only how they are useful to usWww@QuestionHome@Com
