Question: Do we need a romantic side or a romantic ideal in our lives!?
Is romanticism important to society!? How so!?
Please help me!.!.!.I'm out of ideas for my essay!.
All I said is that Romanticists are overly dramatic but I don't know if we really need a romantic side!. This is for English so it doesn't have to do with the "romantic" love!. In English terms like the enlightenment period!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes, because a sense of romanticism gives us motivation to progress!. without an open mind there is no room to flourish and expand, and isn't that what life is about!? learning!? if we were all living in a world of realism, there would be no motivation to try new things, hence, society would never progress!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's how the way we can get inpired in our literary abilities!. To have a creative and effective way of expressing ourselves too!.!.
It can be profound and meaningful when you feel romantic!. It is a natural way to enhance emotions and thoughts!. Thus, it dramatically affects people's hearts by placing out the significant point of such creativeness!.!.as to love or inspire!. The dreams and sentiments that stir!.!.

Because it's also filled with feelings of romance!. Both the romantic side (as to experience) and the ideal, makes sense to a fuller, wider unlimiting world of expressions and art!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think people should have a romantic ideal!. Today all guys want is sex!. Prob because it is cheap and easily available!. I would like a world where people actually fall in love!. where as I know many couples who have lived together for many years and the guys never want to get married because they secretly hope they will find someone better than the partner they are with!. Romance is dead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How could we not "need" romanticism!? I mean we have a left and a right brain!. Romanticism is all about feelings and emotions and freedom of spirit in literature!. It's like saying that light has meaning without darknesss!. Reason has no meaning without Romanticism!. If you look at literature, it has cycles of whimsy and structure!. One could argue that these cycles are based on reason and romanticism!. You could spend a lifetime proving that theory!. But for the moment, you could simply use Goethe's quote of "I felt before I thought" to help build a theme!.
