Question: If no creation story existed, humans would find it necessary to create one (without science)!. True!?
and why does humanity find it necessary to create explanations and answers to what it doesn't yet understand!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
humans would find it necessary!? they HAVE found it necessary and always will!. thats what religion is, a crutch for the feeble minded, a simple answer to a complicated question, an effing fairytale!.

our brains are acustomed to find answers to ANY question, our brains want closure, comfort, in knowing answers!. we naturally tend to fill the gaps!.!.!.why do you think optical illusions are so abundant!. our brains need answers and it subconciously creates them if it has to!.

even when there is literally no answer, humans try to take comfort in the fact that we will never know, so why worry about the question!. so in a sense, an unresolved question may be resolved by accepting that there is no true answer, which is the answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess we might assume every explanation was made up and people are all stupid!. I would guess that, unless your a story teller, it's not to create so much as to try to put the pieces together like a puzzle!. That 'is' science, to inquire!. Curiosity is so much a joy in life!. Or sometimes it's, why did this happen to me so I can avoid it in the future!. People are pretty logical, unless they are told a lie and believe it or the true meaning gets lost over time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you've basically answered it yourself!. they make up creation stories because they didn't have science to tell them what was really going on!. they didn't know any better!. our ancestors saw the sun in the sky and had no phuckin clue what the heck that is, this huge gleaming ball of light and energy high above them!. they didn't know what space is, or what stars are, heck, they didn't even know that the earth is a planet! so they made up stories, because they just didn't know any better!.

to answer your second question, that's the foundation of science, dude! without creating explanations and answers to things we don't yet understand, we don't push the envelope, we don't challenge our own perception of things, and our species makes no progress in terms of becoming more aware of our surroundings, how they work, and how we're integrated into it!. the key, obviously, is that science is an establishment of truth and logic, based on mathematics and experimentation, whereas the alternative simply conjures up imaginative stories and tries to force people to believe them just because they say so!. exhibit a: science can explain to you what snow is, why it manifests, what process water undergoes to rise into the sky and fall in flakes of snow!. religion will tell you that it's angels brushing their hair, and it's their dandruff falling gently onto the ground!. and if you dare to question that, you'll burn in hell for eternity and will know no end to the agony you will face!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes true because it is a persisting question and everyone tries to find an answer to it , some will create the story from their own imagination and others will be reveled to them from the creator !.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

false!. because we create/define everything (including understanding)
nothing is natural
our world is completely defined in either our own terms, or terms of superior beingsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Unrestrained ego!. We can't stand not knowing stuff!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
