Question: What is the meaning in doing something good that you think will impress others!?

I mean like when you just got a top score on a game you've been working hard for just to impress your friends and truly they dont even care!. so whats the sense of points system on yahoo answers none cares about your points!. what do you thinkWww@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of people will say they don't do things to impress others, but in truth they just don't want to admit it!. True, there are things you do anyway not just to impress, but I think you would do things and view it from a conscientious perspective to see yourself how you appear to others!.

If you ever played any multi-player games online, you will definitely know there's someone out there who will own that game in perspective of points/frags/etc, but you also know that person has no life outside of that!. So, what does that say about his impression!?

Take that perspective to the real world, if you say money is like points in life, what impression do you have for someone with a lot of money!? Just having a lot of money doesn't necessary mean anything!. Yet we believe in ourselves that someone who is rich is also successful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Doing good with the sole purpose of impressing others is useless!.

If you do good and others see you do it, and then they repeat your actions and help others, and so on!.!.!. then you may be on to something!.

Try a real life experiment!. Go out this weekend and help everyone you see, see how they react!. Maybe something good may come of it!?
