And how can I see my mistakes and our mistakes without distorting reality with sense of guilt (the need to blame myself / the need to blame the other)!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Wait for anger to subside!. Examine the situation rationally!. Take as much blame as you feel lies on you!.

If the person really matters and care about you then they would pardon them self and you!. Life is too short to play the blame gameWww@QuestionHome@Com

This would depend on how the "fight", came about!. I am recently divorced from someone who for some reason or another, had the need to push buttons!. So I left him, Life is to short!. But, I guess that would depend on the context of the fight!. The need for the end result, and why anyone would stop progress!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you did not strike back or say something hurtful back to the person, there would be no fight!. Period!.

If there is a fight, or one develops, it is always YOUR fault!. Think about it carefully!. Who has the real power to not fight!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Blame is an emotional reaction!. It's natural to start blaming when emotions are high!. After you calm down, you can more objectively look at what happened and what to do about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
