Question: Can you PLEASE help me!?!!?! ='''((( I don't know what to do !?
I know this question doesn't belong here, but I like the way you people think!. You seem to have better answers than any where else!. So, please don't yell at me for that!.

So, I spent all night last night studying for my History final, and writing an essay for it too!. I know the material like the back of my hand now!. I went to the school at 10:30 to take it, like I had written down on my calendar, well-prepared and having good feelings about it!.

But when I got there, NO ONE WAS THERE!

I went to the administration building and one of the women brought up the schedule and told me that my final was this morning!.!.!.!.!. at 8:00!!!! =''''((((((

Help, what do I do!?! This final is 35% of my grade, and I'll get kicked out of the Honors Program if I lose that much, not to mention I won't be able to transfer to the school that I want to next year if I lose that 35%!.

I'm too upset to think about this rationally right now, so do any of you have any advice!? Please!?!!

I've never cried over school before in my life, but man, I'm feeling the hurt right about now!. ='(Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow!. Well, since you can't undo what has already happened, you need to focus on your future actions!. And you have to be very aggressive in pursuing your course!. Since it's apparently important that you take the test, you need to figure out how you might still be able to make that happen!.

I think your best option is to contact your professor and explain the situation!. If you do it today, you may still be able to take the exam!.
If your professor isn't sympathetic, then you need to find someone who is, and who can pressure your professor to change his/her mind!. Try talking to the head of the department!. If that doesn't work, maybe someone from the Honors program can help you, or if that doesn't work, try talking to the dean!.

Your effort will be A LOT more difficult after the professor submits the final grades, so act fast!. If you do everything that you can but still aren't successful, then you just need to accept your new reality and get on with it!. Sometimes we make mistakes that we can't undo!.

In the big scheme of things, missing this test probably won't be a huge deal!. But even if it is, that's your reality, and all you can do is accept it!. Even that will be ok, if you can assure yourself that you did everything you could!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh my goodness -- that's awful!. I have dreams like that before finals week but so far it's never actually happened!. You have my sympathy!! Now -- what to do!.
As you are in the Honors Program and have an established reputation with your instructor, I would immediately contact him/her and explain the situation!. Any reasonable person would allow you to sit it later!.
Good luck -- let us know OK!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just ask them to give you a retake!.they should give it to you and its not worth crying over because you can always do it again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

All I can think of is to beg your history teacher to let you have a second chance!. Try to explain what happened!. Make an appointment to speak to the teacher so you may have his/her full attention!. You could call the school now and ask to speak to him/her and ask if you can meet!. Explain that you were prepared and showed up at the wrong time!. Mention that you went to the administration building and describe the woman you spoke to so the teacher knows your telling the truth (they probably get allot of excuses) Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
