Because no two things are equal!.

We promote diversity in our culture!.!.!. which means that we are trained to see differences!. This is a good thing!.

We cannot be expected to see the uniqueness in everyone and value them for it!.!.!. but not devalue them for it if we deem it a negative quality!.

An example of the mentality in our society!.!.!. to accept judgments only if they are positive!.!.!. to welcome and appreciate positive judgment!. But to criticize people for being judgmental when they offer a negative judgment instead!. Double standard in our society!.

We have a right to judge one another in our society!.!.!. I adamantly believe that!. The only question is how!. What criteria!?

If we are going to embrace diversity then we cannot see everyone as equal!.!.!. because we are all different in our own way!. People should be treated according to their skills, virtues, vices, failings, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It looks like a difficult question to answer but taking a look at our human ego, it is not hard to discriminate at all!. People think they are better than the other person although I still can not find a reason why this will be so but people think they are superior to the other person and questions why they should make the other person their equal!. They find traits they do not like about this person and might use it against them and it is quite obvious that if you look at their life, they have more worse traits than you or any one else does!. When people discriminate, you do not need to heed them!. Know at the back of your mind that you are better although that might never get to know because of the chip on their shouldersWww@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think this is so!. I think it is hard to discriminate when asked to prove ones point!. would say it is easy to be ignorant, and therefore assume you are better than someone else when the fact is you are not!. Especially when race comes into the situation!. I think the question you are looking for , is why won't people even try to understand, and maybe also, why are they so afraid they have to hate to protect their egos!. And the answer to that is death, death lets us all know we're human and that we are in fact not permanent, some people need to deflect their fears from death and other impending stressors and in doing so they end up transferring their fears and hates onto other people! if people are discriminating against you tell them to get over themselves!.you are just as good as they are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not always!. Actually it is easier to discriminate against the weaker and it is easier to make equal with the stronger!.

For example in early days some white women would claim to be equal to men but discriminate against non-whites with equal ease!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is easier to discriminate when rules are not fairly applied to competitors by the powers that be , and the powers that be know that they will not be held accountable for their misgivings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.individuals can hide their ignorance!.!.!.in a collective effort!.!.!.
