Question: Are most Philosophy teachers atheists or religious of some sort!?

I think its a fairly even mix!. There are more religious people in the world, but more philosophical people tend to dismiss religion because there is no way to "prove" it!. So the end result is there is about even religious and atheistic philosophizers (is that a word!? lol) Www@QuestionHome@Com

the best philosophy teacher i ever had was a pastor at an evengelical church!.

I belive that to be a generalization, Plato belived in god, as did many philosiphers of old!.

Just because you ask the question 'why' does not mean you have not faith in GOD!.

How can you form true faith without quesiton, how can you be assured you believe in GOd if you never ask if you do!. and ask why!.

I Love Philosophy Yet I'm A "Die-Hard" Roman Catholic!. (I tend to stay mostly off the topics relevant to religion though, plenty of worldly philosophical studying to contemplate!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Most" of them are actually atheists because they have to ask the question "Why !?"!. If you think about religion you'll find that it makes less sense per question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

im not sure but i dont think that their atheists their probably mostly agnostic Www@QuestionHome@Com
