Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Why shouldnt it be!? We shouldnt make more victims Rescuers do enough!. They place their own lives in danger well enough, you couldnt ask for more!. Complete, blind self-sacrifice is too much to expect from anyone, not that you should!. I admit that they did make the choice to be in harms way, they took the job!. You should expect something!. If they arent reliable enough to try to help then they shouldnt be rescuers!. I have an issue with the police force for this self-righteous mentality!. If you kill a cop, its like the worst thing ever!. Somehow the peace-protectors who chose to take the job dont realize its dangerous!?!!?! And why should civilians on their way home to their kids be less valuable than a cop!? If a cop is killed fighting criminals!.!.!. its sad!.!.!. but why make any bigger of a deal about it than you would for anyone!? Police are more interested in actually -trying- and pursue justice when a cop is the victim!. Its corruption, because its actually revenge that they want, hiding behind the badge!. That clan-like (or should I say "gang-like") brotherhood mentality only causes an unjust bias in the system!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes, it often is!.!.!.the last thing they want to do is to risk losing another person trying to save the 1st one!. Many times it's unclear whether keeping the victim safe is even possible, but precautions can at least be taken to insure that the rescuer is not in grave danger!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I would say yes in regards to a professional rescuer such as fire or police and others trained for rescue!. Just from the fact that they are trained for such events and will make their safety of a higher priority!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com haha great thinking it should be, but sometimes the courage of the person trying to save someone overtakes there mind and they risk it all to save others which is quite heroric in my eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It depends!. If you were saving your husband or wife or child, the safety of the victim may well be a higher priority!.
