No, there is always a steady "background" rate of species extinction, and these extinctions are often caused by direct or indirect pressures from other species!.

Humans do likely destroy the highest number of other species, though, and unlike the natural extinction rate, the extinctions we cause are often preventable!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. There are many cases where another species will attack and kill off the other!. The one that comes to mind off the top of my head would be the lions and the cheetahs!. The lions will purposely go out and hunt down the kits of the cheetahs and kill them!. Not for food!. They will hunt out the lair of the cheetah and then kill the offspring then go on their way leaving the cadaver of the kit behind!.
That's one instance I can think of now!. There are many more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course not!. But we're probably the only species who does it while totally aware of the pain it causes!. There are many animals who kill in order to survive but since they have no conscience, they're not aware its impact!. We are!. That's what distinguishes us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

nope!. whether you believe Darwin's theory or not!. Natural selection is a fact, if one species can survive better than the other, then they take the resources and let the other species die!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the one way for a species to evolve is to destroy!. ANY species!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
