If we found another Earth that happens to be close enough to a star to inhabit life, and if we also discovered intelligent life who happens to be more intelligent and advanced than human race!. Then what would happen to our religion!? What would happen to Judaism, Islam, Christianity!.!.!.etc!?

Modern religions are built in such a way that they are impossible to refute!. They would simply highlight all of the similarities between the extraterrestrial religion and their own, and present them as proof of their own books accuracy!. If it were completely different, they would dismiss the alien's religion as outright wrong!. So no!. I don't believe that the discovery of a more intelligent life form would deter religion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Carl Sagan used to say that " there are more than one hundred billion stars in our galaxy, and there are more than one hundred billion galaxies in the universe!. If ten percent of those stars had planets and ten percent of those planets could support life, then it is a near mathematical certainty that somewhere else in the universe, english is spoken!." If all religions were lost in finding that planet it would be the best thing that ever happened!. I've heard other people ask the same question; but honestly I don't understand how intelligent life on other planets has anything to do with the truth or falsity of religious claims!. Let's look at this from a religious standpoint; okay!? Even if the religious teachings of any particular religion are true, consider that God is still "King of Universe!." And just because he has a relationship with the people on this planet doesn't preclude him from having a relationship with other planets as well!. We humans have a tendency to act like spoiled kids!. First we say that sun, moon and stars revolve around us!. Then when science proves that to be false, we say, okay, but our sun is the center of all things!. And then science proves that to be false too!. So then our galaxy becomes the center, and science proves that false!. We've got to get over the notion that everything (God included) revolves around us -- it really doesn't!. People who would lose their faith over something like this are acting like the child who for many years was the only child!. He got all of the attention!. And then one day his parents come home with a little baby!. The kid becomes jealous because he thinks nobody loves him anymore!. If parents can love more than one child at a time, why can't God love more than one planet at a time!? We have to grow up and stop being so immature!.
