I have had quite a few - I started young -

the major ones I think were first leaving home at 16 and deciding to totally wipe out my past and meet the world with a self-constructed happy childhood so that I could meet the outside with some kind of energy -

next was recovering as an alcoholic at 33 which came with turning towards person = centred approach as a counsellor rather than the more heady TA I was pursuing

!.When my past came along to overwhelm me at 37 I was forced to review those earlier years I had packed away and forced to do the work that accompanied it!. It made me into a mellower more accepting forgiving person of all other diversity!.

I was rediagnosed at 50 with D!.I!.D and that has proved also to be a turning point I dont really know how yet but it has again provided the conditions for a sea change - a good rough choppy old sea!.

It seems to me that the sea changes come about in periods of break down of the self in some way and I have led a risky life, wide open to many such breakdowns - each one in its own way gave some teaching!.

A rolling revolution of breakdowns has led me through anarchism -co-operation - person centredness - to a taoist perspective in life!.

My present mode is the way of accepting what is and allowing it unconditional love and i am not averse to more direct action!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Does the core ever really change!?

I wonder sometimes!. I shifted from my childhood perspectives, only to find the path was recursive!. The core has remained fundamentally the same!. There's the occasional attempt to deny it!.

But I'm governed to the Cheshire's path!. To voice awareness of ones' self is to voice madness!.

Particularly coming to the awareness that not all people are equal!. Superiority is only gained in the mass !.!.!. thus I suffer traits of inferiority; less of a martyr, but a crucifixion still the same!.

The traits of inferiority are also deemed the social superiority in which the mass strives towards, but only bearing on the survival of the mass organism vs the individual, although minority masses are created!. But likewise the striving of which has to remain with the appearance that the class remains at the same level!. Educational banking extended to a universal means as to support equality, for worse as to better!.

I suppose as to an answer for the question!.!.!. It's knowing it's better to remain quiet!. However, silence requires self control!. And self control is better maintained in the grave!.

It is easier to survive life playing to a few illusions than to truly be real !.!.!. for everyone questions the validity of your existence more in the waking world than in the few memories of sleep!.

As to causes!.!.!. only the experiences of being!. But perhaps it is only a social defect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, it was sometime back when I lost my near and dear ones in an accident, add to that I lost my work too!.
This suddenness of losing everything caused me to question the very basics of existence, as to why are we here!? why should human life mean a suffering!?
After reading Swami Vivekananda, I think whole of my life is changed now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, but it wasn't a single instance that changed everything!.
It was gradual and took several years, and began when I started studying philosophy!. It is only now that I look back that I realise that I am a totally different person now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I have, I found that when I was able to get control of my addictions that life and the world was a nicer place!. I am over 9 years clean now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I had a change but it was not a sea change!. It was unmeasurable and unique change which no one could ever experienced in this world!. To others it was and is nothing!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
