Antagonists are those whom cause situations to occur!.

If you believe you are in a situation in which you do not understand, being called an antagonist is essentially the same as the person saying that You are Responsible for the events that have occurred!.

One should not shirk from responsibility, however one should also not accept responsibility when it is not theirs to accept!.

Sometimes, no one is responsible save providence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are being accused of being an antagonist, you just might want to consider if there is any truth to it!. Particularly, if you are having a lot of problems with relationships!. I mean, there is nothing wrong with being a little assertive with people, but if you are in fact picking fights with people and/or causing friction in relationships, you might want to consider other approaches!.

If someone told me that, I would think it over!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Did the person who called you that say it in anger!? Or where they making an objective observation (ie, non emotional)!?

Opposition in and of itself is fine!. Often people use "antagonist" to evoke emotion from you!. Don't buy it if you sense they are trying to rile you, provoke you, into reacting!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends!. Were you the one who started it!? If so, you're the antagonist!. (the one who starts a fight!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
