Consciousness is an inherent property of all matter but can only express itself in particular arrangements of matter, like magnetism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Early psychoanalysts make the claim that the development of language is the introduction of consciousness (that's why you don't remember anything before around 3 years old)!. The claim's been disputed, but there is certainly something to it in the sense that a baby has no idea about its own dimensions or the world around it until well after it is born!. The brain continues to change and develop all through your childhood and adolescence, so the whole concept is slippery at best!. I would say I only became really conscious as an adult, once I developed critical reasoning skills that could be separated from the overwhelming emotional state of adolescence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is the moment when the soul/spirit takes possession of the egg-sperm-unity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
