Rarely is there a universal answer to what seems like a case by case basis, but embarassment of association is not enough to justify moral subterfuge!. If lives are at stake and it is not a threatening offense I might swing differently, but thats the normWww@QuestionHome@Com

To my mind, yes!. Rules are conventions constructed by consensus!. If you hold this rule by an arbitrary loyalty to some abstract law then you may be the one who is immoral!. Trust your own conscience when it comes to matters that are clearly situated, local, and relative!. By relative I don't mean anything goes, simply that the situation has it's own logic if your heart and your mind is open and receptive to it!. There are no absolutes!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm sure there are plenty of people who think it is OK!.

But if you allow one person to get away with it, then that starts the excuses and special circumstances!.!.!.!.and before you know it, integrity goes right out the window!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In a society where everyone is supposed to be equal, it is not okay to let things slide!. Unless it is a matter of the nation's security!. In which we still deserve to know the truth!. Eventually!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No one is ever that far above everyone else in society!. people have such a warped sense of reality and what really has value in life!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
