Question: Need help understanding a few passages from Schopenhauer!?
I'm reading Leibniz's Monadology and having trouble understanding what some passages mean!? Can someone please explain, I'm planning on writing a paper on him this weekend!.!.!.thanks in advance!!!

Here are the passages:

1)Consequently, a way from within stands open to us to that real inner nature of things to which we cannot penetrate from without

2)accordingly, the act of will is indeed only the nearest and clearest phenomenon of the thing in itself

3)the doctrine that what makes itself known in the most immediate knowledge as will is precisely that which objectifies itself at different grades in all the phenomena of this worldWww@QuestionHome@Com

1!. You cannot find yourself within, while you look for things outside yourself!. For instance, a person trying to find love, should look for the love within themselves, and not try to go find it outside themselves via another person!. Again, no one is going to find themselves, while searching for things outside themselves!.

2!. The "act of will" is intriguing!. How do we know we're acting on will if our thoughts/emotions, and outside forces are guiding us to act!? What is willing us!? Is it truly ourselves!? That which is an "act of will" is surely a phenomenon!.

3!. The idea of "will" changes in different circumstances/situations!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Agendas, which ones are being applied, does Karl or Groucho Marx have the right agenda; research how personally they approached applying the Torah to humanization actions to effect a global society! You will find Groucho Marx was a man of human principles and was an Anti-Socialist! Karl Marx lacked the risk of commitment to any cause of freedom! He was a Socialist in name only, and given respect for his opinion; which will forever be unwarranted ! Life is to encourage survival with as little sacrifice as possible or the individual ultimate commitment! Sometimes there is damage, but there is always global enlightenment; if there is maturity!Www@QuestionHome@Com
