I don't think the world will end in 2012 because there is no scientific evidence to support such assumption!. It was assumed that the world would end in 2000 and nothing happened!.

There has always been assumptions that the world would end!. It's a common human behavior!. It may have to do with our survival instinct!. I think we're going to be around for a very long time!. Maybe we should try to get used to it!. We should continue to enjoy our rice and beans and ice cream!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No I don't think the world will end, but I do think humanity will change a bit!. I have lots of reasons- err, actually a mix of them to support my answer!. The mayans, for example: their calendar isn't counting down to the end of the world, it counts down to the beginning of a new age!. According to their stories, every age brings destruction and also enlightenment for the human race!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do not believe the world is going to end in 2012!. However the Myan calendar and the people who believe in the calendar believe it!.

There are 5 suns in the Myan calender!. Every sun represents a "world" or an "earth" if you will!. All if the suns over these worlds have given in to destruction of the worst kind!. Each of the 4 worlds before ours, was destroyed by one of the Earth's natural occurances!. According to my source, this last sun is the final sun!. This earth is to be destroyed by fire!.

There is alot more to this belief and it includes the gods and the warlords who have domain over the suns!. This last sun, has a warlord that is the most powerful!. He is the ultimate warlord!. His name is, "HUITZILIOPOTCHTLI"!. I do not have a translation yet, but this is the fifth and final warlord!.

I am a follower of Christ!. I believe that the earth will end when He says that it's time!. We do not know when this will be!. He is going to come at a time when the whole world is caught off guard!. But when He arrives, every ear shall hear Him and every eye shall see Him!. We don't know the day or the hour or the minute and that's all good by me!.

no, i don't!. i believe the earth is going through a natural process in which it will either slowly deteriorate itself, or something like a meteor will strike and end it suddenly!. i don't think there's a higher power commanding the calender of doom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
