Question: Does Profession of Dentist is a Nice Job !? My Parents are Asking me to do BDS after My Philosophy Graduation!?
so please help me

i will be thankful to you for your advice
i am a Philosophy Hon 1 year student
my parents are asking me to do BDS so i can get better job after it and my career will be settle
i think they are right
because after Philosophy gradaution there are not much Job opportunity and only option left is teaching line after doing phd that took many years
friends does i should go for BDS
i also think that by doing a professional course the job will be fix and i will open my private clinic,so i had not to wander here and there unnecessary for job
please help me,does my parents are right,my Both Parents are DOCTOR and My sister is also doing MBBS
i live in India NEW DELHI
i think this decision will be good because there is only benefit in Philosophy when you will do Phd and can became Profosser and there are no governement seat vaccant!.
so BDS will be a Profossional course that will give me a job and i could earn money for my future family
in 3 years of graduation i will acquire good Philosophical Knowledge
so i think doing bds will be right decision
MY LEARNING POWER IS GREAT
BUT MATHS IS WEAK
i am asking this question because so i say to my parents and they will fill 12 class open form with science side by giving money
friends do you think to do BDS will be right Decision for My Future and myself because than it give sureity of a job
friends please give me a nice advice
I HAD GREAT KNOWLEDEG OF HISTORY,PHILOSOPHY AND ASTRONOMY
but what i will do of only Knowledge I HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO EARN MONEY IN FUTURE FOR MY FAMILY

Hey! seems like u hv written a lot there!.!.!.but wat i could make out is that u want to do BDS coz thats a better paying job & coz ur parents want it!.!.!.
well, do u want to *** back to ur home 10 yrs later unsatisfied from ur job as a dentist!? or u wud rather do sth vich u r interested in & will want to continue doing it!? Do what u wud b happy doing!.!.!.life is 2 short to live for some one else!.!.!.

Different cultures have varying priorities!. Your parents obviously think highly of education as being of paramount importance!. You must abide by their will unless they relinquish you from it!. Some are blessed to enjoy studying and their years and time in the halls of academia!. Others find the society and work arduous and tiresome!. O as your heart will and counsels you!. A life wherein you care able to honour, parents, society and creed without compromise to your own hearts desire and aspirations!.
