Dostoevsky once made one of his characters, Raskolnikov, say "Power is there for those who have the courage to reach out and take it!." One of the gifts of self-taught leadership is the ability to notice when it is necessary!. Most natural leaders lead for the mere sake of leading, and will often start a fight if they are put in a room with too many other natural leaders!. A truly gifted leader will follow when faced with command from a competent and established leader!. I have been in too many situations where I was the only follower and the leaders spent too much time bickering over who would be in charge!. I usually just walk away!. Is it really leadership when those who would follow you end up just walking away!? Www@QuestionHome@Com
