Question: Why is it so easy for some people to see other's beauty on the inside, but so hard for them to see their own!?

I'm sure there are different reasons for different people, but for some, I suspect it's a slightly misguided but well-intentioned conception of "humility"!. Humility is a very beautiful quality for a being to possess, but it does not mean that you cannot see yourself as beautiful or good!. To be humble does not mean to think less of yourself - it's not to think one's self worthless or undeserving!. It just means to not think more of yourself than you really deserve, to not place yourself above others!. If you are a beautiful being, then you are a beautiful being - there is nothing haughty or proud about simply perceiving that fact!.

Perhaps it's a bit of a balancing act for some people!. People either are or are not humble!. Those who are humble might occasionally recognize their own beauty, but then like deer in the headlights they awaken suddenly to realize that they've been staring at themselves!. This often induces embarrassment or shame!. So they overcompensate by deciding to blind themselves to their own beauty so they can return to their humble state - it doesn't have to make one blind to one's own beauty, but it often does!.

Of course, this blindness is also often temporary!. That, I think, is beautiful!. ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because they're so intent on helping others shine that they forget about their own potential to be great and a burst of light!. I think its easier to work on what you can see!. For instance if my beard or hair grows i know its time for a shave or a haircut!. also if someone,s clothes are a bit out fashion they may go and buy new clothes!. A person may have inner beauty but won't be able o recognize it because its hard to see whats with in!.
