Question: About the life of Muhammed!.!.!.!?

I had this little discussion with a Muslim a while back!. He kept bitching about what is bad, so I started about Muhammed!. According to what we've learnt in school, Muhammed was a rich trader and I believe over 40 years old when he started the religion!. also, I'm not sure about this, but didn't he fight in wars too!?

I'm from a Muslim family & I'm sorry to tell you that I'm an Atheist!. But I never disrespect other religions, believe me!. Thing is this, you, by the by, have come to know a little about Islam indeed! Forget it!. The true history is, yes, Muhammad engaged in wars----so what!? When one tries to snatch your food & only food, of course you're allowed to fight against your food-snatcher, right!? Probably, Muhammad did so! Again forget it!. You admitted that you had a "LITTLE" discussion with a Muslim person, right!? A "little" of anything is not enough to argue, am I right!?
Thank you for your humble posting!. I'm so happy to see such humble attempt!. I wish, some day you all would show such humbleness to other religions as well as the Atheists!. By the way, I know Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism-------I don't want to make any contradictions!. I love human beings & I know, all the religions are for the same cause----so what's my problem!? To be an Atheist, doesn't mean that I've to fight against the believers!.
