It was common knowledge that the world was flat!. The majority of people shared in this common knowledge!. I don't recommend it!.

To the best of my knowledge, it was only a small percentage of people that believed that the earth might be something other than a flat world!.

Did you actually mean common sense instead of common knowledge!? I've never heard of having common knowledge but a lot of people either have or do not have common sense!. And it seems the more intelligent they are the less common sense they have!. I was blessed with a good IQ--135--but also have a head full of common sense for which I am very thankful!. No!. The developmentally disabled, children, and the elderly that suffer from memory loss do not have common knowledge!. Some people never had it in the first place!. Most people do have it though, but they educate themselves stupid!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The very words "common knowlege" at least imply that many people!.!.!.maybe even most people!.!.!.have that particular knowledge, although assuming that certain information is known and agreed upon by everybody is probably a bit of a reach!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i presume you "common knowledge" is something different from common sense!.things like earth is round,inernet can be used for porn etc are common knowledge!.though you may find isolated people who may not share such common knowledge!.also children may be outside such common knowledge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
