Go insane!. Humans need sensory input, and assuming you mean by paralyzed that I cannot move or feel anything, you've ended up describing the conditions in a sensory deprivation chamber!. People last only a few hours in such conditions before hallucinations and other nasty side effects kick in!. I'm not aware of a study that has kept a person in such conditions until dead, but the method is a form of torture!. The only reason it's not commonly used is that it takes time, resources, and serious effort to make sure the person truly has no external stimuli to occupy their brain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Think about that, all you would have is your thoughts!. You could feel people touching you, hopefully I would have someone who would brush my hair and give me some interaction!.
