No you don't need be a polymath!. Of course, it helps if you are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

pol·y·math (pl-mth) n!. A person of great or varied learning!.

If I fall off my bike because I did too high a wheelie, and I decide that I don't want to do anymore high wheelies because I don't like falling off my bike, I have made a philosophical decision!. I don't need to be a person of great an varied learning to know I don't want to fall on my asterisk!.

What does it mean to "truly be philosophical!?" Can a person BE philosophical!? I can feel philosophically about not falling off my bike, but does that make me philosophical!?

I think "truly be philosophical" is a meaningless term!.

So no, I don't need to be a polymath to be a gibberish term!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if 'polymath' means 'great and varied learning', then I don't see why you shouldn't consider being one!. It's all for the good cause, you know, and the more you learn it will no doubt expand your horizons!. So go ahead, jump in! The more you absorb, the greater your perspective will be of taking in all sides of a situation, or problem!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
