Question: Is it a good idea to write down your thoughts when meditating!?
or is it better to wait & write them down after i get done!? or even, not to write them down at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well, i usually wait until after meditating!. it works for me!. & my guess would be that it is up to the individual on how they meditate & what they do or don't do when they meditate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

depends what your meditating on in my personal experience!. it also matters if you destroy it afterwards!. meditating is for some people a very personal experience and should be done with great care for the soul!.!.!. leaving bits and pieces of yourself splattered on crumpled pieces of paper is about as bad as leaving your personal information lieing about for just anyone to read!. if you dont care, or dont have much to loose doing so!.!.!. hey go ahead!. i dont mind most times what people read of what i write!. most times now!.

but other than that i dont see the real problem!. some people meditate cross legged and humming, some people meditate bowed and hands folded under their chin praying to god, some people meditate while sweating it out on the road in a pair of well broken in running shoes, some people empty their heads while stretched out in front of the tv or whatever violent video game of their choice!. dont worry about it!. these are only guidelines not how EVERYONE should do it!. make it your own, and find peace!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It may be a good idea to write your ideas after!. Don't wait too long, or they'll escape your mind, or worse, you could alter the beauty of your thoughts and make them different than before!.

It's also a good idea to keep them in your soul instead of writing them down!. This way, you wont ever feel the need to go back and think about a bad idea or an idea that you have no answer or question about!.

Hello!. It depends on the person meditating!. If you feel the need to write them down then do so!. Sometimes people encounter thoughts they wouldn't normally in life while meditating!. If you feel the need to grasp hold of the thoughts ricocheting around in your head then you should!. Good bye!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Might help you concentrate on what ever your meditating on!. So yeah, go for it write them down, I say after you meditate to reflect and to analyze!.

i don't see what would be wrong with writing them down!.!.but you might want to wait till after your done meditating, it would probably be a great idea to keep them all in a book like a journal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Putting an experience, had while meditating, into words I think would just dilute the experience!. Better to practice just "taking these experiences with you" as you go about your life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
