Question: Why do people continue to preach the Bible on non-religious questions!? !?

Is there any reason to continue these lengthy sermons in writing with quotes from Bibles on the Yahoo Answers!? Why are they preaching!?
Is it for themselves!? Or their own insecurities!? Or boredom!? Has Bible Bumping ever resolved our problems!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think some use biblical quotes because they are comfortable with how they interpret them, and they expect everyone else to interpret them that way too!. I think others use them as a shield, in order to protect themselves from the questions of sinners and sycophants!. I think the most common answer might be that they just cant think of a creative answer on their own and they might need some help or inspiration!. Not to say they aren't able to answer with their own words if they tried, but they might think they needn't try when the bible says it better!? I don't know, to be honest, I would never quote the bible to anyone who didn't quote it first, and typically I wouldn't quote it then wither, unless it truly proves some point definitively, which if you've read any of the bible, it typically doesn't, lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When I ask about Adam and Eve, people quote Darwin at me!. But nobody quotes Darwin when I ask about Romeo and Juliet!. It seems that people have religion and science all screwed around in their heads!.

also if people are spamming you with irrelevant religious quotes, VIOLATE them!.

But, many people have had dramatically improved lives from Bible study!. Others have had dramatically improved lives from learning about science!. Neither one is a substitute for the other but both have their charms and benefits!. Just those who push one at the expense of the other seem much less charming and benificent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
