It is true that a gun has never killed anyone!. When a gun it shot (an action) it can kill, but a gun (a noun) cannot kill!. A gun can kill someone inside, though!. If someone kills with a gun, the guilt from the action can kill them!. If you kill yourself with a gun, does a gun do that!? You kill yourself, and you have (or are) the gun!. Would that work!? Thank you for that question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It means that, a gun can kill a person, but not his thoughts or his ideas!. Pertaining to your subject of war and battles, even if so many people have been killed, their thoughts have been more recognized!. Don't you think so!?
I mean a gun can kill a body, a physical existence but not a person's soul!.
I hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah of course the gun needs mankind for it to kill!. We could argue it was the bullet and not the gun too!. What I see within the question/ statement is, not so much the smoking gun or speeding bullet but, the insecurity and blood thirst that arises through the need to dominate one`s nieghbour!.weapons of war have no other use than to kill!. maybe it means that the one in fault is not the gun itself, for it has no will of its own, but man, because we will the gunWww@QuestionHome@Com

That's not even a question!. It's a statement!. In terms of philosophy, guns don't kill people!. People kill other people with guns!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the one holding the gun is the one who kills !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
