Question: Is there an infallible, consistent, compassionate, source behind this thing called life!? !?
try to define such without religious jargon or esoteric text outside of yourself; what does your heart say, not what you want others to think your heart needs to say!. A big difference, yes!? And to those skeptics & cynics out there, even if this 'ideal' of sorts is imaginary!.!.!.!.!. and in spite of the 'evil' scapegoated to the guise of religion!.!.!.!. hasn't there been some good!.!.!. if not to an equal or greater degree for people to seek to better!.!.themselves!?!? and there capacity to relate to themselves and others they deem significant in their lives!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I can not give you a clear cut answer!.!.!.simply because I (and for that matter anyone else) haven't solved that mystery!. Any emphatic YES or NO would have to be supported by proof, which none possess!.

Still, when you ask for an answer from 'heart', I would say after living for as long as I have, after going through various/varied experiences, after studying life closely, after pondering over situations, coincidences, after going through phases of doubts and disbelief, I've oftentimes wondered if there really is a source that makes things happen!.!.!.suddenly and quite unexpectedly!.

I wouldn't say it is infallible, consistent, or compassionate!.!.!.I wouldn't say it can be manipulated by religious thoughts/prayers!.!.!.In fact at times it appears decidedly cruel!.!.!.punishing people for no known reasons!.!.!.BUT since its energy is undeniable, I do not ignore its presence!.!.!.!.

Conscience is present in every human being which stops us from being evil (its another matter that some kill it and feel free to do as they please)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is only one answer to your question which deals in absolutes, being the Absolute of Love, not self-seeking love, but TRUE LOVE, which is SACRIFICE where the individual steps aside from the self and becomes transfix on the world and others outside the self!. It is the State of the Eternal Child, being the state of selflessness where one is dead to the self and to the ego!. This is when the Universe (or God) truly empowers the individual with True Power, when the individual reaches a complete state of POWERLESSNESS and cannot help themself!.!.!. is when they receive True Power!. Only in this way can the individual's TRUE PURPOSE be realized!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The more u talk about this freaking philosophy, the less we know!.

philosophy is not the final answer, just a process we use to arrive at the final answer!.

Philosophy is useless because it cannot conclusively answer this question!. ''if i am a man dreaming i'm a butterfly, how do i know i'm not a butterfly dreaming i'm a man!?

Just believe through faith God is real and absolute!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. No deus ex machina!. And the sooner we humans accept this, the sooner we begin to take on OUR responsibility TO EACH OTHER: nothing "higher" is going to step in and "make good" for our failings in how we treat each other!.

Infallible: yes, how can the life or the universe get itself wrong!? What there is, is perfect by virtue of just being!.
Consistent: yes, there is a certain clockworkiness about it all, isn't there!?
Compassionate: in the same sense that it is infallible, yes!. There is no reflection, rejection, remorse, hesitation or judgment about it!. Much the way we feel love!.
These are anthropomorphizing or narcissistic terms people might use (not illegitimately nor even really inaccurately) to describe our universe that is what it is, everything and all the time!.!.!. our selves, perhaps!. There is no "extra" information in them!. Holy, yes; divine, yes; willful - only through my will, and yours!. "Good" or "evil" - only through our desires and understandings!. So yeah, maybe just humanity like the lady said!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think there IS an 'infallible, consistent, compassionate' source behind life and the goodness that it does contain!. But I am an atheist!. I do not believe in any God, and I fundamentally oppose organised religion!.

What I think this 'good' 'spirit' is, that binds us together and makes us WANT to work together and improve society, is very simple really!.

I think it's humanity!. There is something, a part of each one of us, which, when joined together with all others who have that seed of goodness too, forms something miraculous and almost external !.!.!. people thank miracles and 'gods' for good luck etc !.!.!. but couldn't it be the magic of humankind!?

I like to think that the basis of each of us is fundamentally good, and that those who commit terrible sins and lead bad lives have simply gone astray, and their sense of good and right has been clouded by another variable (revenge, jealousy, greed, fear etc)!.

BUT I am not sure if this worldwide force is omnipotent !.!.!. a lot of people ignore it, or mistake it for something else, or disregard it as being of lesser importance !.!.!. but I do believe that humans are called connected by a fragile, vulnerable, but ultimately unwavering bond 0 our 'humanity' - , and I do believe that it is good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
