We can get times, dates, days, years every moment from our computer monitors, mobile phones, watches! Why then this useless expenditures of printing costly multi-color calendars wasting rich papers, by so many companies & firms worldwide!? Wouldn't that save huge green for this earth if we stop printing calendars!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

However, children up to age of about 8 or so, just judging by what my nephews used to do-they are wonder gown young men now) calendar is like to toy, they hang it on the wall, take pleasure making Notes they like, and love to see the pictures of every month!. So calendars are useless and an eye soar in the adult world!. But calendars are a like an enjoyable hobby or toy for children up to a certain age!. I actually prefer them not to grasp it so early, as it's already unavoidable!. Having a calendar on their walls is great!. It teaches them dates about other people!. It teaches patience!. It allows them to make their own choices!. It teaches time and practice, if you marked them!. But I am not going to wear the "save the calendar!" t shirt and protest against you on the other side of the street, if you feel that strongly about this and are picketing already!. Seriously though, I like having something that's paper and right in front of me so that i can circle days and write appointments down and in case of a computer failure i won't be blindly trying to figure out if I missed an appointment or if I have a meeting to attend or a friend to have lunch with!. I love my paper calendar!Www@QuestionHome@Com I like my calendar!. It has beautiful pictures!. While I frequently check the date on my watch, phone, computer, etc, I find looking at my calendar more enjoyable than looking at the dead screen of a computer!. A physical calendar is more aesthetically pleasing and less cluttered, in my opinion!. It offers more clarity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I don't get calendars with pretty pictures because I just want to use it to write down Dr!.'s appts and Birthdays (at home)!. At work, if I need to know what next Wednesday's date is, it's much quicker for me to look at my desk calendar than to look at my calendar on my desktop!. If I need to know what day November 18th falls on, ditto - it's much quicker to look at my paper calendar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well you say that but think of how many calenders raise money for charity- i have never thought that every pop star and tv program needs one!.
