That the universe is one thing, (including however many dimensions) and the collective components of everything!.

Depends, if you take the universe as "everything", then yes, because everything in the universe is everything that exists, so everything that exists is part of the universe!.
Your logic is a bit flawed here, I think you might want to say it like this: We are conscious and a part of the universe, therefore a PART of the universe is conscious!. Other parts (objects) are also part of the universe, but they are not conscious!. So if the whole universe would be conscious, objects would be conscious as well, but they aren't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i've always thought so ever since the idea of unity was exposed to me as a kid in having been told of eastern faiths!.

The idea has always mad since to me best in the image of pac man!. here is a circle with a v cut out!. What it isn't defines the something and the something defines the nothing without the other neither would exist!. Add 2 more dimensions and a whole lot of somethings and nothings floating around in time and you get a model for the unity of all things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
