Question: Past greats who used the Law of Attraction!?
Ok i watched the movie The Secret, and i beleive in the law of attraction thing now!. It really all makes sense why optimists are better people than pessimests!. And i do think there is some scientific basis behind this!.

Now it mentions that a lot of people in the past have used it!. I mean it takes a bunch of quotes from very successful people and makes you realize them!.

Now what are some people that used it!. I was thinking mabye past conquerers like the Romans or Napoleon or alexander the great or even Divinci!.

Did they all use this power too!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say yes they used the power, as everyone uses the Law of Attraction!. Some recognize they are using it, as in The Secret, some don't!. But we all attract to us those things that vibrational frequencies match our own!. My father used to say, "We make our own luck"!. With this belief system, he was using it by believing "luck" was based on what you wanted to happen!. This was even though had never even heard of the Law of Attraction!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No one "used it", it does not exist!. It is an imaginary thing!. Some conquerers have tried to use it, and they have failed horribly!.

Instead of visualizing and attempting to thereby magically attract things, you need to use reason and planning and work for them to happen in the real world!.

This magical visualizing cult is what is really behind our current economic collapse, not to mention the Neocon war in a Iraq (people in the Bush administration, you should know, have said explicitly that they create reality with their thoughts and actions, and therefore don't have to study reality to make their plans), and various other dysfunctional wishful-thinking-caused nightmares!.

You need a critical, inquiring, rational head to do what is right and to get what you want!. That's what The Romans used and Napoleon, sophisticated rational tactics and strategy!. That's what Alexander the Great used -- his tutor was rational, logical philosopher Aristotle! Why on earth waste your time with The Secret when you can get your hands on Aristotle at any library!!?

Same for inventors like Da Vinci and Tesla -- they used imagination, creativity, and rational, logical technical thinking!.

Compare THAT to the Neocons!. You want a historical example of conquerers following the principle in The Secret!? Look at the Bush Administration, and the culture on Wall Street until just a few weeks ago!. That didn't work so well, did it!?

Think of this, too: Do you think a child with cancer brought that on himself with his thoughts!? What about a starving child in Africa whose mother is dying of AIDS!?

Do you think the Queen of England is in her position because of her thoughts!?

If so, that is very ignorant, in the second case!. And it is downright evil, to blame a child for that, in the first!.

also, read the book "Nickled and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich, about how the idea that everything in the world that happens to us is because of what we attract by our thoughts is not only crazy, but is also a tool for social control!.

If you really want to know a book with "secrets" to amazing success, check out "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu!. It is about rational calculation in war and in negotiation to get what you want!.

It sure the heck beats going into Iraq with nothing but taxpayer money and an insane amount of optimism!.
