Okay, I'm going to try to figure out what you meant since you said your question was misinterpreted!.

If you don't have to be receptive because you are already enlightened, and there is nothing left to receive, then wouldn't your mind be at capacity!? Not blank!?

Wouldn't it be painted with all of colors of various experiences, beliefs, truths, and knowledge!? I think your mind is blank before you reach enlightenment!. But as you go along and collect various colors (the experiences, etc!.) then you are able to paint your canvas until it is full of colors!. Then the only thing left to do is to hang that one up on your mental wall, and go through the process all over again because colors fade over time, and your canvas wears out, you have to start new!. Enlightenment does not last forever, because if it did then everyone would be at full capacity, and we know that's not true when there's just so much to experience in a day let alone a lifetime!.

Enlightenment requires you to be conscious of the experience!. Otherwise it would be like being asleep and not realising anything that's around you!. Rather than nothingness, enlightenment enhances everything- your understanding of yourself, the world, your mind!. This happens by clearing all the junk from your mind!.
