There really is no way to measure love!. It's not like you can put it in a measuring cup and add it to a recipe!.!. so I guess that leaves only metaphors to describe it!. I likt this one with the river in that I've noticed times in my life where loves seems to completely go away then it comes back and makes me remember that it does exist and life isn't gloomy and dark!. But the question is, what is love!? Is it a feeling!? Then what gives us this feelings!? God!? Another person!? Family!. I think the only way to describe it is a "warmth" inside, like you candle has been lit!. Love is what everyone really wants in the end, it's what everyone is chasing!. I think loving yourself though is the best bet because then the river is inside you rather than outside, therefore always with you!.!. and you don't have to rely on external things to complete you!. I think if God is known right he's a river inside us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rarely do you see a river not reaching the Ocean [They end in a lake sometimes]!. I think, a River marries the Earth for it's lifetime!. They do detour sometimes, why!? They have their own reasons at that point!.
