Question: Is adult depression inevitable!?
Most parents protect their children from the real world & it's problems, neg!. issues, & dangers!. Eventually those children grow up & experience that real world, which doesn't live up to those good ideals!. Inevitably, adults are let down & suffer a lack of faith, disappointment, disillusionment, & finally apathy, because the adjustment from utopianism to a cruel world reality is too difficult to bear!. The majority of adults will suffer from some form of depression or mental illness!. Is there a solution to help transition 'child-like innocence' to adult reality!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow!

#1: Most adult do not suffer from mental illness!.
#2: Child abuse does not prevent "disillusionment" later!. (Translated: Children are supposed to be allowed a time of innocence to build their belief in the world!. Reality can be overly traumatic to the young!.)
#3: Being "let down" is not the end of the world!. It's like saying Why should I go on living if Santa Claus isn't real!? You get over it!.
#4: Adolescence is a tough time!. All adolescents ARE in fact temporarily insane!. It is called puberty!. There are no shortcuts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On what evidence or source do you base the claim that most adults will or have suffered in such a way!? That sounds much different from what my experience would lead me to believe!. Do you have a good and reliable source!? And will you please provide a citation to it!? Thank you very much for considering my request!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
