I know what you mean, it does all seem a little convenient, doesn't it!? But there are a lot more apparent 'coincidences' to us being here than just that, even!.!.!.
Consider the balance to our orbit and rotation that the moon offers, which is just the right size and distance away!. also the water cycle, nitrogen cycle, carbon cycle, phosphorous cycle, et al, all of which have to be balanced with each other!. also the atmospheric make-up, the size of the planet (re: gravity - it's not the spin that creates gravity, it's mass), the spot-on distance from the sun, and the speed of rotation!.

And that's just our planet - the physical makeup of the universe as a whole has to be just right too, to enable matter to form as it does, to enable stars to shine the way they do, even to allow the fundamental physical laws that let atoms, molecules interact the way they do!.!.!.

Why does man require knowledge!. If mortals facilitate only 1!.5% of their entire brain power, why!. If in this age of information technology, people have a greater knowledge base, allegedly than their ancient forebears, a fact I vehemently contest, what improvements or changes has this supposed increase in knowledge accomplished, if anything!. What is the power of knowledge, why does man seek knowledge, for what purpose other than to appear erudite or learned to equally ardent seekers of an all elusive truth!.

The life force generating central power of the eternal flaming Sun!. Unbeheld, unobserved in proximity, none know of its matter or energy, excepting knowledge of its immediate qualities!. Man has ventured upon the moon, and remained as nonplussed as to what lies beyond the point of his descension, if aliens were to descend to Earth in the Sahara desert to conclude the earth is a barren wasteland of sand dunes it would indeed by inaccurate in the extreme!.

The enigmatic Sun, about whom all worlds and planets revolve unknown, unscrutinised and misunderstood, the solar life giving force as mysterious today as when time began!. Shines upon all, burring some to a cinder, leaving others unkissed, in discriminate fashion, the mysterious Sun !.!.!.

It means exploration!. Invention and understanding!.
Basically people made a huge step in the latest 5000 years (from ancient feudal civilization to a highly evolved computerized civilization with space program!)
People are facing quick changes!. Changes beyond any change before!. People were always inventive and smart, but with the
6,700,000,000 and each one of them holds a 1!.5kilogram brain and many of these people living in highly evolved society with education better and advanced then ever before! Imagine that just 500 years ago only few people were lucky to read and write!. Chivalry, kings, merchants, noblemen, and priests, but not any other!. Other people would just work on the fields or at best a factory or craft!. Today we lear to write and read so soon and almost all of us!

In conclusion with the technological advancement and great changes in social structure only 4 to 7% of population is working in agriculture and others work in different sectors leaving much of the money for scientist to do their job!. So with an army of scientist hungry for knowledge we became more aware of the true universe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What people think is a bummer is the fact that (at least for now) that knowledge is beyond us!.

Some people think this is horrid and dooms us to chaos, or they make up gods that will save us!.

I prefer to think it means that all we have is our brief period here and the people we share that with!. Better not waste it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
