do you believe in reincarnation!? some think that the reincarnation theory was bogus, but why do we strongly react whenever we hear that!? what do you think we will accomplish anyway knowing our past, maybe its still a part of us!? like people that have natural instincts, that those who are terrified of water couldve died in drowning!.!. something that fossils wont explain, spiritual evolution!? You may have cookies, but you don't either! :DWww@QuestionHome@Com We get psyched up Because humans are always trying to find reason why we are here, why we act the way we do, why we were born in a certain famliy, etc!. And our "past life" can give us a little sight of that "why"!. We also like to think that after death, there's something else!. Such as reincarnation!. So that we can feel a little relieved about the whole concept of death!. I believe that natural instincts are something we develop in this life as we go on living (during the childhood usually) If you noticed, babies do not fear anything (which is the reason why parents of little kids are always on their toes)!. However, as the time passes by those little kids develop all kinds of phobias!. I believe that it's what our society/parents put in our head that stops us from being as fearless as babies!. Www@QuestionHome@Com I'm a Buddhist, and I believe in reincarnation!. I think this is an interesting subject because it never ceases to make me wonder!. There are some things out there that are unexplainable by science, and aren't really accounted for by religion!. I don't think it's the religion that decides whether or not you believe in reincarntion, but your outlook on life!. I just read this teen book, quite interesting really called: Reincarnation by Suzanne Wyett!? Yeah, the cover is quite suggestive, but it's really good :)Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes, I believe in reincarnation!. Logically, it doesn't make sense that we learn everything in one skinny, measly little lifetime!. It really doesn't matter what or who I was in a past lifetime (lets hope I was a good guy or gal, LOL)!. What matters is right now, that is all that really counts!. Who I will become is a matter yet to be decided by me!.!.!.IF, I choose yet another lifetime on Planet HELL!. I figure there are many timelines, an infinite number of timelines in fact!.!.!.and God can connect me with a different one next time!. I like the plan of continuous growth!. I think it makes a lot more sense than the monoists, who think you only get one lifetime!. And just like they say!.!.!.what do we do besides play harps in heaven, hmmmm!?!?!? I think God is way too interesting to let that happen to all of us!.!.!.the plan is for spiritual growth and expansion, not stagnation!. Knowing life exists on the other side, is a comfort to me, it makes me a lot less fearful (although, not fearless) and the idea I can come back here again, as an option in the Big Plan, is a wonderful thought for opportunity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com As a child I would often tell my parents and grandparents that my name was really Susan and not Pamela!. They laughed at me!. I named all of my baby dolls Susan!. I don't know for sure but I do think that there is a possibility that we are reincarnated!. One of my sons spoke of another life but he out grew it and my oldest grandson told me that I used to be his mom and he was my little boy!. I have heard of many stories where children speak of different lives!. Edit: The manager of my Apt!. Building took an instant dislike to me!. Some might say that we knew each other in a former life!. I didn't like her instantly!. also I typed in Reincarnation in the Bible and I got a very good read!. Plus, some religions say its not true and others say it is!. But I believe the ones that say its true, say that because they say they have actually remembered some of their past lives!. It could be their imagination (or hallucination), it could be the truth, or it could be a lie!. I suppose there's no reason to assume it isn't a lie, but I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't just out to deceive everybody!. So it seems like its either true, or they are mistaken!. I can't find a good reason to conclude one way or the other, except that in my own personal experience, I have found a fair amount of some of the other things they have said, to be true!. But it seems that if this should influence any conclusion, that perhaps it should really only be my own, and not yours!. That is, what I have experienced, I experienced first hand, but you can only know of it second hand (unless you have your own)!. So I think that it may be true, but I can't really suggest that you should agree or not!. If knowing about your past lives, helps you to know about this life, then it helps you to know more about yourself!. It seems to me that the more you know about yourself, the more you understand your place in the world, and perhaps that could help you to understand more about the world itself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
