Question: This might sound crazy to you so if you read it and want to tell me Im crazy, don't!. I know I am!.!?
Okay here goes!.
!.!.!.!.(trying to figure out how to say it outside my mind where it would make sense to everyone hehe)

K I think I got it!.
1!. I don't think there is a past present or future, just that there is one continuous moment, ever lasting ya know!. So lets say I was right, an everlasting moment!.
2!. People say a life time is short compared to eternity!.
3!. If that was true, then a second is really nothing at all
4!. Doesn't that literally mean all time is nothing because every second is nothing!? Could that mean everything is happening all at once yet not even happening at all!?

Alright I really don't think I put that the same way it sounds in my head but if it makes sense to you some how please tell me if you agree or disagree and why please!. Thank you!

Gf, U r so bright !!! Ppl wont realize though until later on when science proves some of ur statements!. Have u ever heard of a thing called "String Theory" !?!? Well scientists have been working on this theory for around 20+ yrs and at 1st they thought there was just 1 dimension and then they thought there was more , some lost heart and gave up so it's still pretty much up in the air!. But while I was watching a youtube video about the theory it occurred to me that what if the whole universe as we know it is not actually space!?!?!? Like what if every line, every space is created by all the dimensions overlapping etc; Uh oh!.!.!.I can't explain my theory either!.!.!. But I think u rocK !!!!!!!!!

And I know that we made up time and gave definition to it and I guess what ppl like u and me are saying whats the next step of the definition of the human relationship with time and how we can define the longevity of our relationship with what we do know about the universe of which we are a part of!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Ur AWESOME !!!!

edit: And I think that a second is only significant if someone is there to measure it, right!? So if nothing significant to anybody occurred in that second whose going to capture that!? haha so yes 1 again u r right!.!.!.b/c if we did create time to measure things the same as mathematics etc; then we can say that everything that surrounds us exists because we see or experience it, and if nobody feels like they experienced or identified something, THEN IT DOESN'T EXIST !!!!!! Woooohooooo !!!! I declare you Kassandra Genius :PWww@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think you're crazy ;)
A lifetime is short compared to eternity and a second is short compared to a lifetime, so is very short compared with an eternity!. However it isn't nothing compared to an eternity so there is some tiny fraction of eternity between its start and end!.
It's like considering the circumference of the world compared with a millimeter!. The millimeter is tiny, but a large enough number of them still makes a long distance!.

Hmm, now that answer is probably starting to make me sound a) obsessive and b) silly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The answers to these questions are ones you'll find out about when you die!. You'll have the opportunity to reflect on your entire life at once, yet you will see all that you wish you would have done different!. If you don't believe in God, you'll wish you did!. None the less, we will all understand in one instant what we do not get now, and I'll bet everyone will reflect back on what little respect we gave life and realize how precious it was!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As I type this time is going by, its gone forever!. In one sense we are living in an everlasting moment and once its gone its gone forever!. But I dont really see how you can say that it is not happening at all!. Because we can remember, store, in our brains events that happen is proof that something did in fact happen!. We think therefore we live!.

if you think there is one continuous moment then doesn't that moment take up time!?

also, i don't think a second is nothing because things can't happen in "nothing"!. we wouldn't have a life or experiences or "moments" with just "nothing"

good luck with your thoughts

Thinking about this stuff is a waste of time in my opinion!.
Life goes on whether you understand how time works or not!.

And besides, time is relative!. It's only real because of the Earth's orbit around the sun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's some very interesting philosophy!. I agree with you because: everything seems to be happening all at once; everything that happens means nothing compared to the entire amount of time there has been!.

You're not crazy, but you are attractive :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok if you can decode the following sentence about what TIME really is, I think it will answer your unruly juxtaposition of unrelated ideas!.

TIME is so everything does not happen at once!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

People either live in the past or future!. Since the present moment is life itself, it is an insane way to live!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this doesnt really make sense!.
i mean it does
but it doesnt

idk

everyone thinks diferently!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it may not make very much sense but i think u could possibly be right lol i always think of crazy things so yeah i like totally agree with your theoryWww@QuestionHome@Com

Without a second!. No hour!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ya know i really dont know!.!.!. but i gotta give it to ya, thats thinkin outside the box!Www@QuestionHome@Com

no!. 1 + 1 = 2!.

Www@QuestionHome@Com

This makes no sense, and it's hard to follow!.

but kudos to theories, I make them up too when I'm high!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Uh, Okay!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That makes no sense!. Without time, things just wouldn't be right!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah so what!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"The Overachievers," Alexandra Robbins, might be just the book for you :)

More to your subject: "The Path of the Higher Self" and "The Masters and Their Retreats," Mark Prophet, talk about timeless Being where Light downloads of information occur!.

"Testimony of Light," Helen Greaves!.

"The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce!?", Free and Wilcock, and its related website, http://www!.divinecosmos!.com talk about time (use search words)!.

"Strange Life of Ivan Osokin," P!. D!. Ouspensky, is a novel about this, as is "Hidden Camera," Zoran Zivkovic!.

"Entering the Circle" and "The Master of Lucid Dreams," Dr!. Olga Kharitidi, also work with time and timelessness!.

also good: "Autobiography of a Yogi," Yogananda,
http://www!.carolbowman!.com
"To Live Within," Lizelle Reymond!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Time is a social construction!. Things move forward naturally, but the words years, months, days, hours and minutes are all human attributions to a natural phenomenon!.

Whether you want to look at time as a natural thing or as a construction, either way it is still a constant!. Time never speeds up or slows down!. Seconds could just as easily be called wizzlefigs, but its definition as a unit of time measurement would be the same!. For that reason, your theory doesn't really make sense!.

Time has to move forward, because if we lived in a single moment then we wouldn't be moving, or breathing, or living!. Without those seconds to tick past, we would be living like a photograph--completely still!.

Www@QuestionHome@Com

But the problem is that a second is not nothing!. For example, my computer can do thousands of things within a single second!. If I'm exercising, my heart can beat 2 or more times per second!. My nervous system can have multiple parts active dozens of times a second!. Some weapons can kill dozens of people in a second!. So I think you're wrong to say that a second is nothing!.

But even if you were right on that point (say, you cut down the time from a second to a nanosecond, or something similar), you're still not right on the whole point, because it's not true that adding up a very large number of very small things only leaves you with nothing in the end!. For a physical (non-temporal) example, look at a sandy beach, and think about how tiny each grain of sand is (one might say, it's "next to nothing"), but there's no denying that the beach is a very real, very physical thing, not nothing at all!. Math, also, shows us how adding an infinite number of infinitely small things can actually result in a measurable whole!.

I don't know if that all makes much more sense than what you wrote, but I hope it explains something, anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everything is related to everything in this universe, but it takes intelligence to figure out how exactly!.

Where you really want to start out is to think if what you thought- that you thought was logical and if you thought differently, would it be still making sense!? also note that the paradox of thinking is that sometimes we things that we are right, thus making them right with out any justification therefore our conclusions are false!. But one might be more creative and constructive and say!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I think therefore I am, I think about being, should I be thinking about being if its true or not!? Thus if I say (yes, no) what difference that makes to the universe!?

What you did is you made a new false universe by contradicting old truths!. Its nothing unusual, and commonly acceptable in philosophy, but you must elaborate your statements or redefine the axioms!.

As for dimensions- there are people saying that we indeed live in multi-verse!. No proof of that yet, but highly possible!.

This link will help get more insight on how time effects our mind, the world and what it really is
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=imaq16YuE!.!.!.

also one question,
Would it not mean to travel from universe to universe if both of parallel universes collided and became identical at some point and after that, separated, yet you would not notice at any given moment until you would realise that your ID has different name, yet the same picture of you, but different birth place!? What would you think after that!?
Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. I agree with you there, "Time" is more of just a way to refer to something that happened, than an actual continuum!. similar in a way that Science created Math to measure results!.

2!. Eternity is infinate, a lifetime averages 84 years!. - That is pretty short if you ask me!.

3!. A second is just a measurement, but all the difference can be made at that one moment!.

4!. Comparatively speaking, a second couldn't possibly be nothing, it can be close to nothing, but something that is something can not be nothing, therefore when you compile all the seconds, you have all that "Time"

You're not crazy, in fact it's people like you who are so brilliant, it's like you're on a whole 'nother level of thinking!.

=)Www@QuestionHome@Com

good try but!.!.!.

3!. If that was true, then a second is really nothing at all
4!. Doesn't that literally mean all time is nothing because every second is nothing!? Could that mean everything is happening all at once yet not even happening at all!?

no!. a second is RELATIVELY nothing compared to eternity, but it is LITERALLY something, no matter how small it is!. for example say you have $100 worth of pennies, which is what, like 10,000 pennies!? you would be inclined to say that each penny by itself is worth nothing because there are so many, but take one away and you no longer have $100!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, first, you assume that a second is really nothing, which I think is a faulty assumption!. It may be short compared to eternity, but it does matter!. One atom, though small, can affect a lot of matter elsewhere!. Imagine, also, that a stuntman was performing a stunt and his timing was off by one second, causing the stunt to fail and his life to end!.
This one second affected his life immensely, as well as anyone else who knew him!. Imagine how much more impact it could have on the history of the world if something of much greater importance happened in a second!.

Everything is small compared to eternity!. 1000 years is tiny compared to eternity!. Is a thousand years nothing!? Is a million years nothing!? It's minuscule compared to eternity too!.
Your logic is based on an idea that doesn't logically follow!.

There are three dimensions, right!? Some people believe that time is a 4th dimension!. Something exists in one place in the grid of lengths, widths, and heights of the universe, but also at a point in time!. Every moment could be a different plane of time, a different still reality!. Interesting, huh!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
