That's a myth to millions!. No so many people have control over their lives nor do they have the power to be in control over their lives!. those who can, should indeed enjoy every minute of it!.

To me life is sufficiently short that we must purposely take time from the madness of modern life to not only smell the roses, but to admire the sun, sky and trees!. In addition to attempting to savor and enjoy every minute possible!. This includes when working or doing things that may not be a favourite thing (with me, washing up is a chore, but I have learned to use it to mediate a bit on whatever pops into mind)!.

Any day we miss a moment to pause, appreciate and reflect, we have lost an opportunity to connect with the larger world outside ourselves!. We have lost an opportunity to reflect and appreciate on all the good in life!. The good we can't buy no matter how much money we make, no matter what material possessions we might have!.

The vast riches of our minds (and as the many believe, our souls and spirits) can never be taxed, and can grow abundantly if we will only take the time!. Growing this wealth begins with taking time to smell the roses and take in any other beauty around us!.

I believe that no matter what our station in life, for the most of us, we have the capacity to control our inner thoughts and feelings, at least to a large extent!. Most any of us can find at least a few minutes to appreciate something of the world about us, even if it is but a little potted plant in the single window of the most spartan bedsit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That is right, but you must strike a balance between doing right, working, being responsible, taking care of your responsibilities, obey the laws and not infringe on the rights of others in this process!.
but we focus so much on the here and now when we have no clue about the afterlife!. it could be wonderful so we should be working on both one here so we can get to the other!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
