Philosophy of science concerns the ideas behind the construction of the scientific method and what science is trying to accomplish!. Science itself is the body of techniques we use to gain knowledge!. BTW, it is not the knowledge itself, in spite of popular usage to the contrary!.

It is interesting, up until the early 1900's, most science degrees were awarded in!.!.!.!.philosophy, which is were we got the term for PhD, or doctor of philosophy!. It wasn't until these times degrees in science were separated from philosophy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
