No!.

In a bartering society, members trade objects for objects!. How many apples do you need to buy a chicken!? How are taxes collected!? How are projects funded!?

Barter works in small groups, but as the population grows the inefficiencies in a barter society become overwhelming!. Money, then, acts as an economic lubricant that eases the pain of transactions!. Without that efficiency the human race could not have achieved the types of technological advances we have today because their development required too much time and resource which would have been consumed in the difficulties of constant barter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Money are the direct cause of technological advancement!. Bartering is not good, because it doesn't give us a stable platform for merchants selling goods!. The bartering doesn't allow market to be flexible and thus much of the values are diminished!. Imagine you have something good to sell, but no one can offer anything in return that would be respect full to the value you seek!. This greatly cripples trade in all its aspects!. In the past technological advancement was promoted by the needs of the society or by the King, Deity who could support invention from the treasury guiding the effort and work!. Today the technologies are mainly supported by the means of creating values that are all transferred to abstract value and thus distributed according to the situation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think an so!. I mean there are things called the "Craig's list" or "cost too much" where people buy and sell stuff online!. I think it would be more necessary than not!. It would include advanced machines as well!.

A bartering society sells not just goods but services as well!. One man supplies what the other lacks!. And what the one person lacks he gives something else in return!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Bartering means producing, so we may have been a more productive, however we would have not moved off the bartering stage of market economy, we would not have built such a large economy and we would not be technologically advanced at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
