Question: The heavenly perfection paradox!?
first off i am not trying to attack Christianity i just like making paradoxes so please don't attack me

The bible says that adam and eve were the first humans thus they were without sin this would by biblical definition make them perfect being so how then could they make such a misjudgment in the first place

second Lucifer was a top angel in heaven so their for he must have also been perfect so how could he miss judge so

the only solution I can think of to these questions are thus: their is no such thing as perfection even if you are without sin!. this of course would mean that Jesus was not perfect!. and if Lucifer was not perfect then nether is god

do you agree or disagree and why

(i know its not a very coherent paradox maybe i will rephrase it latter and sry about any miss spellings)

Here is a paradox to answer your paradox!. If one person were perfect then so could another person be perfect!. If people were perfect then people would not believe in perfection because one person is not that different from another and so nobody who was imperfect would try to be perfect!. But, if EVERYONE is imperfect then you can believe that you CAN be perfect!. If another person is perfect then all you have to do is to be like that person but if nobody is perfect you are free to keep on trying to be perfect, forever!. So, the reason that nobody is perfect is that everyone wants to be perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first those aren't paradox, those are contridictions!.
second!. I agree with all of them!.
third i think its funny that you ask the christians not to attack you when you are attacking them!.
fourth and the only important one: you use the term perfect wrong i think!. when you said that christians say that adam and eve were perfect, they would have been talking about being without sin!. that says nothing about intelligence/wisdom or whatever!. same thing for lucifer!. two different meanings!. one meaning to you is not the same for them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In Genesis, Adam went to sleep and nowhere does it say he woke up!. We are all in a dream state that we think is real, but the entire physical universe is of that dream!. Since it is temporary, like our bodies and not eternal, none of it has power or persistence no matter how horrendous is sounds!. We are still as perfect as when we were created!. Does that mean we shouldn't try to correct what we know is wrong here!? No, because by correcting it with love, we get back home!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rules are written by the winners!. Adam, Eve, Lucifer are not perfect in the Christian tradition because God defines "perfect", and he doesn't define them as perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

is there really such thing as perfect!? i think nobody and nothing can be 100% perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your first paradox: Genesis 1:31 says "Then God saw everything that He had made, and it was very good!." That included Adam and Eve!. The Hebrew word there for "good" means, good, pleasant, beautiful, excellent, lovely!. And the Hebrew word for "very" can also be translated as exceedingly!. So Adam and Eve were exceedingly good; in fact perfect for God's plans, but that does not mean that they themselves were perfect!. It is true, to start with, they had not sinned; however, that only shows that they were unblemished - in other words, exceedingly good!. But perfect they were not!.

The thing about being perfect, is that you could never make a mistake or a wrong decision, on the basis that you are in total control, and you have all understanding!. If you did not have all understanding, you would be lacking in knowledge, making it impossible to make the right decision on every occasion!. If it is impossible to make the correct decision on every occasion, then you are not perfect!. And Adam and Eve were not capable of making the right decision on every occasion, as the account in Genesis shows!. Therefore, it was impossible for them to have been perfect!.

Your second paradox: Ezekiel 28:15 recounts the creation of Lucifer, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" and concludes that God created Lucifer perfectly!. God's perfect creation was disrupted by Lucifer's actions!. Look at John 8:44 to show that Lucifer, not God, was imperfect:
"[Lucifer] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth…there is no truth in him!. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it!."

Lucifer was in perfect form when God made him, but was evil from the beginning and brought destruction and chaos upon himself by choosing to be evil!.

Now think of this - (my own idea on good and evil) Often, people align "evil" with "bad!." Nonetheless, time and again negative incidents can lead to optimistic situations, and conversely, many good instances can end with undesirable outcomes!. As a result, there is no way to distinguish between what truly is "good" and "evil!." Whether or not God created Satan, God has allowed evil to exist!. Furthermore, Christians believe that God knows what's best for us!. Therefore, it follows that since evil exists and God knows best, evil must serve some function in our lives!. If you think of it that way, we need evil in our lives!. In this regard, evil is actually helping us!. If something is helping us, can we really say that it is "bad!?
