In a truly pure democracy, everyone votes on all specific issues, but we don't live in a pure democracy!. We have a republic, in which the best an individual can do is to elect someone to represent an individual's views and opinions on most specific issues, but this doesn't work well with lobbyists short circuiting the process!. Felons are probably more honest than lobbyists, by the way, so they should be able to vote, even in a republic!. Short circuiting the greatest social experiment mankind has yet dared should be a felony!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
