At once yes and no!.!.It is the ever present conflict between desire and submission!. The conflict between self and selflessness!. Even the urge to accomplish by your own power that which is to be a matter of submission and a learning experience to glorify God is the same thing!. Example: When Moses knew slavery was wrong and the Israelites were to be delivered, he interceded in their behalf and killed an Egyptian when one was being beaten!. He fled in fear for being discovered!. 40 years later after becoming a shepard in the emptiness of the desert he had become the meekest man on earth!. Then emptied of self and humble he could be what he was intended to be , but it cost him everything!. The throne of an empire was his and he gave it up for something of greater value!. Abraham did the same!. He left Ur of the Chaldees and went "whither he knew not!.!." seeking the things which reside inside and bring peace rather than the wealth of this world!.!.!.!. Who in this time is like that !? Everyone wants it ALL here and ALL there too!.!.!. and wind up with neither peace nor prosperity of soul!. I found there's a profit in everything, but you have to look for it, accept that it may not be the one you wanted, and recognize that if it isn't what you wanted there must be a lesson to learn (which is another profit)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
